LCRSEEP is a five-year, multi-site initiative—funded by the Columbia Basin Trust and led by the Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) in partnership with the Trail Wildlife Association and the BC Ministry of Forests. It brings together a diverse network of collaborators and supporting funders to conserve the Lower Columbia Basin’s most vulnerable ecosystems. The project focuses on protecting and enhancing riparian, dry forest, and brushland habitats while supporting rare and threatened wildlife species. Grounded in Syilx Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK), it promotes ecological resilience alongside community outreach, education, and cultural awareness.
