This booklet brings together the insights and priorities of 24 regional leaders who were involved in the discussions that led to the creation of the Okanagan Similkameen Watershed Collaborative Leadership Table.

These initial discussions were convened by the Okanagan Nation Alliance, together with the Centre for Indigenous Environmental Resources (CIER). Grounded in the Syilx siwɬkʷ Water Declaration, discussions focused on exploring ways to address shared water challenges through a Syilx-guided process for building trust and collaboration.
