The territory of the Syilx Okanagan People encompasses a rich and stunning landscape, featuring deserts and lakes, alpine forests, and endangered grasslands. This area covers roughly 69,000 square kilometers. The northern section is near Mica Creek, just north of present-day Revelstoke, BC, while the eastern boundary lies between Kaslo and Kootenay Lakes. To the south, the territory reaches near Wilbur, Washington, and the western border stretches into the Nicola Valley.
