The Okanagan Dam Fish Passage project has received international recognition, recently earning a nomination for the International Fish Passage Project of Distinction and being featured at the International Fish Passage Conference as part of the ONA Salmon Story.

Adding to this achievement, the project was also named a Finalist in the Freshwater Category of the Real Estate Foundation of BC Land Awards.

These recognitions reflect the collective hard work, advocacy, and dedication to tmixʷ by so many people committed to putting the river back, putting the fish back, and putting the people back. Every project completed to date has contributed to this success.
