Healing starts with us

Join us for a 2 km Walk for Reconciliation on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation as we come together to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and hold space to support families and community.

We will be depart from the Safeway Parking lot (1301 Main St #801) and make our way to the Syilx Indian Residential School (SIRS) Monument located beside the kł cp̓əlk̓ stim̓ Hatchery on En’owkin Trail.

Please Note: This is a public event and participants attend at their own risk. The Okanagan Nation Alliance is not responsible for any injury or incident that may occur during the walk.

Everyone is welcome to participate. Remember to wear your orange, blue, or green shirts as we walk together to honour the children, Survivors, and our communities.
